Manchester-based producer Murder He Wrote returns to Rhythm Athletic with a bass heavy, multi-faceted 5 tracker - analogue synth and drum machine led UK Funky meeting sample heavy, rave-tinged Breakbeat, Bruk and House.

Lead track 'Come Thru' channels smoke machines, steel drums and 808s for a slice of ravey, wide eyed euphoria, whilst EP opener 'Drop' takes things back to basics pairing Bruk inspired rhythms with a wonky resonant bass.

'Stay Up' and 'Operate' bring two different takes on hard, analogue UK Funky, both almost entirely relying on the AA battery powered Korg Volca series of synths and drum machines for their sound sources. Finally, cinematic strings, a classic break and a 4/4 kick collide for EP closer 'Fade To Black'.
